Adoption Focus is very pleased to announce that we're now working in partnership with the charity Home For Good to raise awareness of the need for adopters and foster carers in the UK.

Home For Good is a charity founded by Christian leaders, who were also foster carers or adoptive parents, committed to working together to raise the profile of fostering and adoption within the Church.

The initiative launched in 2013 following consultations with foster carers, adoptive parents, church leaders and social work professionals. Since then they have been taking their message out to churches around the country to encourage a deeper understanding of the theology of adoption, hospitality and caring for the vulnerable while also promoting support for adoptive families within church congregations.

Home For Good Director and founder member Krish Kandiah will be speaking at a church service in Coventry, on Sunday 22nd April, 10.15 - 12.30. The service, on the subject ‘How to be good parents’, will be taking place at:

Coventry Vineyard Church
Sidney Stringer Academy
Primrose Hill Street

Representatives from the Adoption Focus team will be in attendance to talk about our work and to provide information on starting the adoption process. Everyone is welcome to attend this event and you can find more details here.
