Funding received from The Edward Cadbury Trust We are really pleased to announce that Adoption Focus has recently been awarded £5,000 of charitable funding from the Edward Cadbury Trust. This generous donation will be used to help develop and expand our adoption support services for the families we work with. The Edward Cadbury Charitable Trust was established in 1945 by Edward Cadbury, the grandson of the founder of the chocolate company. His particular interest in education, religion and social welfare, together with the Quaker values of simplicity, equality, justice, peace and care of the environment, have helped shape the current grant-making policy of the Trust. The Trust has a particular focus on supporting the voluntary sector in the Midlands and their programme of grant giving encompasses seven main areas: Arts and Culture Community Projects and Integration Compassionate Support Conservation and Environment Interfaith and Multifaith Relations Education and Training Research This funding was awarded in recognition of the amazing work of our team during an incredibly challenging time this year. It is an important contribution to our adoption support provision which has repeatedly proved itself to be so vital for families. We are very grateful to The Edward Cadbury Charitable Trust for their support and generous contribution to our charity.
