The first live e-chat held by Adoption in the Black Country & Adoption Focus in December had a great response. Using 'talk type' instant messaging we were able to answer prospective adopters’ questions and give advice about the adoption process.

Ian Groom, Marketing & Recruitment Officer for Adoption in the Black Country & Adoption Focus said, “Using e-chat we were able to 'talk' directly with prospective adopters on a one to one basis and give them the information that they needed in the comfort of their own homes. We want to make it as easy as possible for people to have their questions about adoption answered and it's great that we're now able to offer a new way to contact us".

Adoption in the Black Country & Adoption Focus is already at the forefront of technical innovation in adoption and we have been recognised for our digital efforts at a national level.

Ian continued, “The process is really simple - just click the link and type. There is no software to download or registration required and your conversation is completely confidential."

We will be holding more e-chats throughout 2016. Check the 'News' section of this website for details in the New Year.
