We have two separate podcasts about adoption. Adoption in Focus is our main adoption podcast discussing all aspects of adoption with people who have firsthand experience. Meanwhile, Education in Focus is our adoption podcast looking specifically at the schools and education experience of adoptive families.
The purpose of both of these adoption podcasts is to provide information, advice, insight and support to adopters and people considering adoption in a format that’s both accessible and entertaining. Between our two adoption podcasts, we now have nearly 50 episodes covering a wide range of important topics. We record and release new episodes regularly.

Adoption in Focus
Adoption in Focus is our adoption podcast series discussing adoption from a range of perspectives. It was launched in January 2024 with a remit to feature a wide variety of voices discussing all aspects of adoption. Guests on this adoption podcast have included adult adoptees, professionals, grandparents, and adopters from all backgrounds, each with their own unique experiences and areas of interest. These include adopting brothers and sisters, LGBTQ+ adoption, transracial adoption, adopting as a single person, birth family contact, the matching process and the early permanence pathway. We have many more episodes lined up and ready for release.

Adoption Focus - Education in Focus
Education in Focus is our adoption podcast series looking at all aspects of schools and education through the lens of adoption. In each episode, host Leigh is joined by our education experts Lisa and Jason to provide advice for parents supporting adoptees as they go through their school years. They talk to a range of adopters and professionals on subjects such as homework, exams, special educational needs, promoting good school and parent relationships, end of year transitions, and choosing a school.
Our education and adoption podcast Education in Focus was launched in January 2023 as a resource to support the unique challenges facing adoptees and adopters in schools and currently has more than 20 episodes.
