On a very rainy Saturday in October, the Adoption Focus team braved the weather to complete The Charity Walk for Peace, in West Park, Wolverhampton. More than 400 people (including Adoption Focus staff and family members) turned out for the 2.4 mile stroll through West Park in the city's heart, despite relentless rain, including Wolverhampton mayor Councillor Claire Darke.

Staff members and their families walked the route to raise money for support services for our adopters and their children. We'll be keeping this appeal open and will welcome any more donations.

Charity Walk for Peace was established in the UK by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association. The charity’s mission is to help society, to support charitable endeavours, to work to secure the common good, to demonstrate loyalty to country and nation, and to defend the dignity of mankind.

A donation to Adoption Focus, no matter how big or small, will make an amazing difference to the children and families we support. Make a donation today and help some of the most vulnerable children to achieve a happy and secure childhood.

To sponsor the Adoption Focus team, please click the 'donate' button at the top of this page. We'll be very grateful for any donations we receive and please don't forget to 'Gift Aid' it. Every penny donated* to The Walk for Peace will be doubled by the event’s organisers. Every £1 raised will be worth at least £2 to Adoption Focus*.

*Match funding for the charity has a maximum of £2000.
