This January, Adoption Focus will again be joining with other Voluntary Adoption Agencies (VAAs) across the UK for Big Adoption Day.
Taking place on Wednesday 21st January, Big Adoption Day 2026 will see VAAs highlighting the invaluable work we do, our child-focused approach, and the lifelong support we provide for children and families. At a time when vulnerable children are waiting longer to be adopted, and fewer people are beginning the adoption process, the contribution of the voluntary adoption sector is more important than ever.
Agencies will also be hosting events for potential adopters to find out more about the process and the support on offer for adopters. You can register for our online Big Adoption Day information event here.

VAAs like Adoption Focus are independent, not-for-profit organisations, offering a personalised service to adopters from all backgrounds and enhanced adoption support. They have a wealth of experience having collectively placed thousands of children with adoptive families, particularly those who wait the longest in care - older children, those in sibling groups, and children from the global majority or with disabilities.
