Adopterverse - our safe online space for our adopters to connect, learn from and support each other - is now fully launched.
This unique support tool has been created with and for our adopters. Adopterverse was developed by Adoption Focus with the funding and support of Comic Relief’s Tech for Good Build programme.
Every Adoption Focus adopter who has had a child placed is eligible use Adopterverse, and currently more than 500 people are set up on the platform.
It is accessed via the secure login area of the Adoption Focus website and on it users can:
- Make links with other adopters with similar interests
- Join groups to meet and support each other in person or online
- Create their own groups based on location, age of children, areas of interest or individual circumstances
- Request advice on issues from buddies – experienced adopters with knowledge in particular areas
- Browse a selection of advice curated by our adoption support team on a variety of subjects
We’re so delighted to deliver Adopterverse. It’s the latest expansion of the Ofsted Outstanding-rated support we provide to our families and we will continue to develop it in partnership with them over the coming months.
