We are delighted to announce that Adoption Focus has once again been shortlisted for a Chambers of Commerce award. Last year we were named as the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Charity of the Year, and this year we’ve been nominated in the category of ‘Excellence in Technology & Innovation’.
This nomination is in recognition of our rapid transition to digital service delivery at the start of the pandemic, as well as other new initiatives including our work with Comic Relief’s Tech for Good Build 2021, to develop an online tool to help our adoptive families connect, learn and support each other.
Other organisations shortlisted this year include Touchwood Shopping Centre, Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid, Gro-Organic CIC and St Basil’s Youth Homelessness Charity
Winners will be announced online and at the Solihull Annual Dinner and Awards 2021 at the Forest of Arden Marriott Hotel & Country Club on Thursday 14th October. More details here.
