An Adoption Focus team will once again be taking part in the Charity Walk for Peace to raise money for adoption support services, and this year we’re inviting our supporters and adopters to join us for this special event.

The Charity Walk for Peace is on Saturday 26th October 2019 at West Park, Wolverhampton. The occasion brings together charities from all over the country for a 2.4 mile walk through the picturesque surroundings of this Victorian park, followed by a delicious, free hot lunch.

Organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association UK to help hundreds of UK charities and unite communities with the motto of "Love for All, Hatred for None", the Charity Walk for Peace is the perfect event to raise much-needed funds for our adopters and their children. Not only is the event completely free to enter, it’s accessible, child-friendly and every penny raised in sponsorship will be match-funded by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders, up to £2000.

Last year Adoption Focus staff and their families took part in the event in Windsor Great Park, walking the 2.4 mile route and raising sponsorship money which was generously match-funded for a total contribution of £800 towards support services for our adopters and their children.

Becky Rudge, our Adoption Support Team Manager took part in last year's walk and said, “My daughter and I really enjoyed the day. We felt welcomed and part of something special. It was a lovely setting for the walk and the food at the end was delicious. We’re really looking forward to this year’s event.”
