Adoption Focus is very pleased to announce that we're now working in partnership with the charity Home For Good to raise awareness of the need for adopters and foster carers in the UK.

Home For Good is a charity founded by Christian leaders who were also foster carers or adoptive parents, committed to working together to raise the profile of fostering and adoption within the Church.

To help promote this event and the excellent work they do in promoting adoption, Home For Good have produced this fantastic film featuring Mattea who has two brothers through adoption and Millie whose parents have fostered five children. In the video Mattea and Millie talk about their experiences as children growing up in families that foster and adopt.

Home For Good launched in 2013 following consultations with foster carers, adoptive parents, church leaders and social work professionals. Since then they have been taking their message out to churches around the country to encourage a deeper understanding of the theology of adoption, hospitality and caring for the vulnerable while also promoting support for adoptive families within church congregations.

Adoption Focus has a long history of working with adopters of faith, dating back to our origins as the adoption service for the Midlands-based Catholic charity Father Hudson's Society. Since then we have worked with individuals and couples of all faiths, whether they practice them or not, as well as those who don't identify themselves as having any religion.
